A Rising Star is a student, faculty or staff member, or organization that has exemplified leadership development during this 2012-2013 academic year. The award winners will be announced at the Rising Star awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 6, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Robert M. Smith Student Center Ballroom.
Winners of the Rising Star Award will receive a certificate of achievement and have a star named after them in the International Star Registry courtesy of AVI Dining Services.
